The Tomato Tasting at Oxbow Public Market is all about tomatoes with tomato talks, cheese making demonstrations, salt and olive oil pairings and a magnificent heirloom tomato tasting on the River Deck. The afternoon includes snacks from The Model Bakery and a perfectly paired glass of wine from Tres Sabores.
Saturday’s list of presenters includes Peter Jacobsen of Jacobsen Orchards; The Tomato Lady Amy Giaquinta; UC Davis food scientist Ali Bouzari; and The French Laundry’s culinary gardener, Aaron Keefer. Mozzarella cheese making demonstration by Louella Hill, The SF Milk Maid.
