Shucking Classes with Chef Romo – A Tribute to Jacques Pépin!

Join Hog Island Oyster Co for an intimate, hands-on oyster shucking class hosted by Chef Romo in honor of culinary legend Jacques Pépin.

Chef Jacques taught America how to cook at home and embrace fresh, seasonal ingredients, inspiring chefs and home cooks alike—including all of us at Hog Island Oyster Co. In honor of his 90th birthday, Hog Island Oyster Co is hosting a special week of hands-on oyster shucking classes at our Napa Oyster Bar, with 10% of ticket sales donated to the Jacques Pépin Foundation to support culinary education.

Hosted the first Wednesday of the month, Taste of Oxbow invites the you to enjoy special dishes from purveyors priced at $10 each while enjoying live music, activities, demonstrations, and shopping. Vote on their favorite bite of the night for tenant bragging rights and a chance to win a $25 gift card good at every tenant in the market. Taste of Oxbow will begin on Wednesday, November 5, 4-7 pm with musical guest Sam Devine and follow the first Wednesday of the month through the winter.
