  • The Olive Press releases 2024 Olio Nuovo to public on October 9. Limited Supply. Olio Nuovo, or ‘new oil,’ is an Italian tradition that The Olive Press upholds every year. It is the first oil of the harvest season, which is vibrant green in color and bursting with the intense flavor and aroma of fresh olives, representing the best and most vibrant expression of the olive harvest. $40/500ml.

  • Moro’s much anticipated vanilla soft serve with a rotating list of toppings is now available! Many of the toppings are sourced from neighbor businesses like Olive Press Olive Oil, Anette’s Chocolate’s famous Chardonnay Brittle, and more. $8/cup.

  • C CASA introduces “Kid’s Eat for $5” on Wednesdays at C Casa. Kids can choose a $5 entrée from the Kids Menu when one adult entrée is purchased.

  • Fieldwork Brewing Tap Room celebrates OktoberFest through October 6 with Fest & Last Oktoberfest Lager and seasonal snacks. $4.50/half; $8.50/full. Hot pretzel $8, add beer cheese for $3; Smoked Bratwurst on a Pretzel Bun with Saurkraut $13, add German Potato Salad for $8

  • Live Fire Pizza’s seasonal pie is now available. The fall pie combines Pears, Blue Cheese, Smoked Mozzarella, Spinach, Walnuts, Prosciutto, with a drizzle of Balsamic Vinegar. $25

  • Bar Lucia has introduced the Pumpkin Pie Martini for a limited time. $18. And Kara’s Cupcakes has your pumpkin cookie and cupcake needs covered.

  • Hog Island Oyster Company says watch for Dungeness Crab Season. There’s no exact date, but watch for Dungeness Crab Season later this fall, winter. Watch @oxbowpublicmarket social media handles for announcements in November or December. Right now, you will see house-smoked trout roe atop dishes on the changing menus.   • Hudson Greens & Goods has THE freshest and broadest array of fall produce available in the region. Celtuce anyone? (a distinctive combination of celery and lettuce, of course).

Sober-Tober

Steering clear of alcohol long term or just for October? You’re not alone. Several Oxbow Public Market purveyors have inclusive beverage options to pair with your favorite Oxbow dish.

  • Fieldwork has a growing list of non-alcoholic beers, tonics, waters and house made sodas options made with the same attention to detail as their beers. Canned in 4-packs, the selections are available for shipping nationwide.

  • C CASA drink menu includes a zero proof margarita, mojito, and prickly pear spritzer made with a much love and attention as their higher proof versions.

  • Ritual Coffee drinks menu is worth an exploration. Their Foggy Latte, a beguiling combination of Earl Grey Tea, Orange Blossom Water, and Espresso has returned. Served Hot or Iced.

  • Moro’s sweet mint tea is more than the sum of its parts. A perfectly refreshing pairing with their Moroccan-inspired street food.

On the first Tuesday of the month, Fieldwork Brewing Company hosts an all-you-can-eat pizza party from 5 p.m. until sold out. For $13, get your fill of Fieldwork’s favorite deep-dish Detroit-style pizza (one piece at a time until sold out). A tap room beer selection will also be featured at ‘throwback’ prices.
